Althea rosea

This hollyhock has become a perennial, it seems. This is its fourth year. Its colour is pure chance, one of a packet of seeds that produced all sorts.
This went so well with the lichen on the wall that I hope it becomes a fixture. I can’t find an exact colour match except among dim memories of petticoats when I was too young to pay them great attention.
