I paid little attention when I bought a new camera at Heathrow the other day to the panorama promised by the salesman. The Sony Cybershot is a formidable little pocket weapon anyway: I have used the previous model for two years.

          I remembered the panorama switch in the garden yesterday, wondering

          at the spring colours of a hundred trees, all green, all different. You                    simply press the button and pan steadily round, following an arrow  

          on the screen. This is the result - and the sun wasn't even out.
